LEAD Program

How you can LEAD at O'Neill IUPUI

Leadership

LEAD offers scholarship assistance to support leadership development opportunities, such as the semester-long Washington Leadership Program, and matches you with alumni who can support and encourage you throughout the experience.

Engagement

Through partnerships with local and state organizations and agencies, LEAD creates opportunities for you to get involved in effective, sustainable, and scalable work in the community—a passion that will continue to grow long after a project ends.

Achievement

LEAD assists you with finding scholarly research opportunities and funding support to explore your passions.

Development

Developing today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders begins with mentorship. While there are many mentoring programs on the IUPUI campus, LEAD’s partnership with Mentor Collective is focused on connecting O’Neill alumni with undergraduate students who are from underserved backgrounds.

The LEAD Program helps today’s underserved college students become leaders who possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed anywhere.

Opening doors beyond Indianapolis

The cost to participate in leadership programs can be a significant financial barrier for any college student. LEAD offers scholarship opportunities to reduce the costs to participate in valuable leadership development programs, such as the Washington Leadership Program, to increase participation among underserved students.
