The Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship is an 18 credit hour program of study offered in partnership with the Kelley School of Business. Students must be admitted to the Master of Public Affairs program or the Master of Business Administration program at IUPUI to participate in this certificate program.
The Indiana University Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship: Nonprofit and Public Benefit Organizations was the first formal, university-based program of its kind in Indiana when it launched in 2006. It is offered to graduate students on both the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses.
The certificate prepares students to innovatively approach public needs with a combination of entrepreneurial practices and social purposes—through the for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental sectors.
